About Spectroa
Founded on the premise that high-resolution optics do not require massive footprints, Spectroa designs modular spectrometers for the modern laboratory and remote sensing applications.
Our Engineering Philosophy
We build tools, not black boxes. Every Spectroa instrument is designed with a fundamental respect for the user's need to understand their data. We publish our optical bench designs, we provide raw data access without proprietary compression, and we prioritize modularity over forced upgrades.
Manufacturing & Calibration
All Spectroa optical benches are machined from solid billets of low-thermal-expansion aluminum or Invar, depending on the model. The crossed Czerny-Turner optical paths are aligned manually by senior opticians before being locked in place.
Every unit undergoes a rigorous 48-hour thermal cycling and calibration process against NIST-traceable emission lamps (Hg-Ar, Ne) to ensure wavelength accuracy and thermal stability before it leaves our facility.
